How our tour takes place

As you know, the Provinces of Sardinia, from the four that roughly corresponded the Judicature s that heavily have influenced the history of the island, became eight in 2005.

Our journey begins with the arrival in Olbia, from where we will move to visit all the coasts, the main beaches and the most important locations in Sardinia. We will follow the coast of the eight Provinces counter-clockwise. We'll leave from the north coast visiting first Gallura, then move on to Sassarese. Then the west coast, from Oristanese to the Middle Campidano. Below the south coast visiting Sulcis and Cagliaritano. Finally, the east coast visiting Ogliastra and Nuorese.

They are described all the municipalities of the Sardinia, with their characteristics and the things to visit in their territory. The trip is accompanied by over 3500 original photos and by some movies.

Photos and videos

A traveler’s dream would be to photograph Sardinia in April or May, possibly in the morning, when he can appreciate the colors in their thousand nuances and the beaches are deserted. My journey takes place, instead, in August; the beaches were overcrowded and in various locations I have arrived at all hours of the day, some with the sun high and others at sunset. Some photos are not perfect from an artistic point of view, but they serve as a chronicle of a journey. Our more than 3000 photos are joined by many photos sent by friends, so that I can also describe places that I have not visited. A click on the sample shows how the photos of our site are displayed. We begin the story of our journey
